From over 250 abstracts submitted nationwide, 124 powerful essays emerged—crafted by passionate young Nigerians from every corner of the country. Each one a call to action. Each one a spark of change.
After a rigorous review process, we selected the Top 30 finalists whose ideas stood out for their creativity, impact, and leadership potential.
Now, we count down to the Award and Closing Ceremony on May 29th, where 1st and 2nd place winners from each geopolitical zone—12 in total—will be announced.These 12 outstanding voices will be recognized not just for what they’ve written—but for the future they are helping to shape.
This is more than a competition. It’s a celebration of Nigeria’s youth, rising to lead on the frontlines of climate action.
