Lagos, Nigeria – August 15, 2024 – World Resources Institute (WRI) in partnership with GreenHubAfrica is thrilled to announce an exclusive Youth Climate Leadership Training Workshop. The event is set to take place on August 28, 2024, 10.a.m at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The World Resource Institute (WRI) in partnership with GreenHubAfrica stands at the fore of conversations on environmental preservation in Nigeria by engaging its special edutainment angles called the 3 Ps: the People, the Public, and the Private sectors. The dream is to ensure the protection of the planet through creative and educational approaches.
This one-day workshop aims to equip young Nigerians with the knowledge and skills to drive climate action and sustainability. Participants will engage with leading climate experts, participate in interactive workshops, and connect with like-minded individuals dedicated to advancing Nigeria’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and Long-Term Low Emission Development Strategy (LT-LEDS) for climate resilience.
The training will cover critical topics including:
Climate Negotiations and Policy Analysis
Grant Writing and Climate Finance Tracking
Energy Access and Just Transition
Green Entrepreneurship
Climate Change and Health
Physical attendance for this event is strictly by invitation but all young climate enthusiasts are welcome to join virtually.
